On October 31, 2024, Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) and the Manhattan Institute (MI) filed an amicus (“friend of the court”) brief urging the U.S. Supreme Court to hear Speech First’s challenge to Indiana University’s (IU) bias incidents policy. The groups argued that IU’s policy discourages expression and disadvantages minority viewpoints, and that similar policies have spread across the country.
