On April 15, 2024, Speech First, a national membership group of students, alumni, and others that defends free speech on campus, settled its lawsuit against Oklahoma State University (OSU). Under the agreement, OSU will not return to the harassment policy in place when the suit was filed, and it will disband its Bias Incidents Response Team and not create any similar body to handle “bias incidents.”
