On January 23, 2024, the Foundation for Moral Law filed an amicus (“friend of the court”) brief in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit supporting Speech First’s challenge to Texas State University’s (TXST) discriminatory-harassment policy. The foundation argued that the policy discriminates based on content and viewpoint and is overly broad, and that TXST’s mid-lawsuit policy change did not make Speech First’s claim moot.
