On June 15, 2023, Parents Defending Education (PDE) filed a reply brief in its lawsuit against Ohio’s Olentangy Local School District Board of Education. PDE asked the court for a preliminary injunction, a court order that would stop the district from enforcing its policies while the case goes on.
PDE argued that the policies are plainly unconstitutional because they force students to speak, punish students for the content and viewpoint of their speech, and reach far more speech than the Constitution allows.
