Orcas Island Schools spent $12,000 on outside consultant to develop a “sustainable Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy”

On November 30, 2020 Orcas Island School District superintendent Eric Webb signed an agreement with The Winters Group Inc. to “develop a sustainable diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) strategy. According to the contract, this consultant usually “recommends a three year planning process and framework.”
