Glendale Unified School District policy supports keeping a student’s gender identity from parents

The Glendale Unified School District’s policy for Transgender and Gender-Nonconforming Students states that the “compliance officer may discuss with the student any need to disclose the student’s transgender or gender-nonconforming status or gender identity or gender expression to his/her parents/guardians and/or others, including other students, teacher(s), or other adults on campus.”
