Edmonds School District PTSO raises money for International Day of Transgender Visibility and hosts events/activities during the school day

The Edmonds School District PTSO (Parent, Teacher, Student Organization) raised money and hosted four days of events (3/26, 3/27, 3/31, 4/1, 2025) during the school day to celebrate International Day of Transgender Visibility. According to the PTSO, the Edmonds School district has a “belief in being inclusive and our need to become more gender-inclusive and support of 2SLGBTQIA+ students, families and staff.”

All events took place at Edmonds Heights, a public school that serves approximately 570 students in grades K-12.
