On April 13, 2022, the Department of Education, in conjunction with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, hosted a webinar titled “Lessons from the Field – Supporting Transgender & Nonbinary Students in K-12 Schools.” Panelists included a senior advisor from the Department of Education, the Executive Director of GLSEN, the Director of Advocacy and Government Affairs for the Trevor Project, and member of the CDC.
