The Piedmont Unified School District (PUSD) in Piedmont, California hosted an event titled “Rainbow Connections” for the district’s LGBTQ+ family and staff.

The event, which was held at a local park in the area on October 5 from 11-12:30 p.m., was “open to parents and staff (and their kids!) within PUSD who identify as LGBTQ+,” according to the flyer.

The event appears to have been organized by a parent and Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who specializes in LGBTQ issues, anxiety and trauma, as well as the district’s Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging.
