What is Corrie LLC?

Corrie Wallace calls herself an “anti-oppression educator and consultant.” She is a founding member of the Illinois Coalition of Educational Equity Leaders and an adjunct lecturer at Northwestern University.

Corrie co-created an “Intersectional Social Justice Collaborative for Middle and High School Students” by a group called the MSAN Consortium, a “national coalition of multiracial school districts that have come together to understand and eliminate opportunity/achievement gaps that persist in their schools.”

She says she leads seminars for libraries, businesses and educational entities in the U.S. and overseas. She served as the Chicagoland Coordinator for the National SEED Project. SEEK stands for “Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity.” She is based in the Chicago area.

Contract

On May 11, 2016, Evanston-Skokie School District 65 Superintendent Paul Goren signed an agreement to pay Corrie LLC a total of $316,375 for “Consulting: Cultivating Opportunities for Respectful Reflection on Identity Through Education,” according to the contract.
