Olentangy Orange High School Classroom Displays Wall-To-Wall Pride Decorations

A video sent to Parents Defending Education shows wall-to-wall pride decorations in an Olentangy Orange High School classroom. The video was taken last week.

The video displays a variety of pride flags and symbols on all four walls of the classroom including the progress pride flag, the straight ally pride flag and an American pride flag. The classroom decor also includes a flag that has the phrases “Science is Real”, “Black Lives Matter”, “No Human is Illegal” and “Love is Love”.

According to a parent, at least one student has requested to transfer out of a class that took place in this room.

Although parents say that they have sent multiple complaints to the school board and school principal, as of August 18, 2022 no action had been taken to remove the decor.
