North Middle School displays band sign that promotes gender ideology to students

On February 25, 2024, the organization Minnesota Parents Alliance posted on X that “every child who enters the band room at North Middle School in Hopkins has to confront this sign on the door.” North Middle School is part of Hopkins Public Schools in Minnesota. The sign has a rainbow pride flag attached to the school’s mascot with the phrases “they/them,” “queer,” “LGBTQ+,” “non-binary,” “gay,” “transgender,” “lesbian,” and “pansexual” displayed for students to see.
