National Education Association approves business items accusing President Trump of “fascism” and “authoritarianism,” opposing Supreme Court ruling, and not using ADL materials

Incidents

The National Education Association (NEA) held the union’s annual “Representative Assembly” to vote on the year’s upcoming business items on July 3-6, 2025. The resolutions that NEA members voted on were not made public. However, on July 7, parental rights advocate Corey DeAngelis posted copies of the business items that were provided to him on X. The business items covered a range of issues, from accusing President Donald Trump of “fascism” and “authoritarianism” to opposing the Supreme Court’s decision in the Mahmoud v. Taylor case.

The following were business items that the NEA approved at the annual conference along with the cost that the NEA will spend on each item. These are provided as written by the NEA.
