Moses Brown School in Providence, Rhode Island, is promoting a pride parade for lower school students in a “Rainbow Families” affinity group on June 5. The parade is scheduled for 45 minutes. Lower school often refers to the equivalent of the elementary level for private schools. At Moses Brown, the Lower School includes Pre-K through 4th grade. Affinity groups are groups of people segregated by their characteristics, such as race and sexual orientation.
