Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District targets young students with LGBTQ celebration for pride month

The Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District is promoting LGBTQ advocacy to young students in celebration of pride month. On June 1, 2023, the district published an article titled “MCPASD Celebrates Pride Month by Raising Pride Flags at District Buildings.” The district explained that a middle school counselor and students raised “the pride flag at our District Office.” The students involved are part of a group called “Gender Love And More (GLAM).” Pride flags were also raised at “Kromrey Middle School and Elm Lawn Elementary.” The school district also tweeted images of the event. On June 5, the school district updated its Facebook cover photo with the images.
