A teacher at Kipp Rise Academy in Newark, New Jersey made a video to share a conversation she had with her students. A couple highlights are that she told them that “gender doesn’t have to do with the body” and “we cannot sit here and say there are only two genders in this country because that’s what the model has been.” She also talks about how some babies are born “non-binary.” (warning: some profanity in video)
