Hilliard City Schools Display Handmade Pride Decor

Photographs obtained by Parents Defending Education show excessive hand-made pride decor in middle schools in the Hilliard City School District.

At Hilliard Tharp Middle School, the door to a sixth grade classroom displayed 20 different types of pride flags, including the polysexual pride flag, bigender pride flag and agender pride flag.

At Hilliard Memorial Middle school, the walls of a sixth grade classroom were decorated with a 3-dimensional pride rainbow and over 18 cards displaying definitions of pride terms. These terms included “omnisexual”, “panromantic”, “finsexual” and “grey romantic”.

Following much parent outcry, both schools removed the decorations from the classrooms.
