Gay/Straight Alliance Poster at South High School has QR Code for students to take confidential survey about gender pronouns

Several concerned parents reached out to PDE with screenshots of a poster from the GSA Club at South High School that includes a QR Code that connects students to a survey. Screenshots of the poster, QR code and survey questions are below. This way of administering a survey appears to potentially circumvent the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA) as well as state law. In order to access the survey, a person must have a school email address — this makes it impossible for parents to access the survey.
