On September 2, 2022, an elementary school teacher at Saturn Street Elementary and Arts and Media Magnet in Los Angeles, CA posted a video to Tik Tok welcoming students to the school year “with inclusive books, social justice, Black Lives Matter, and queerness.” The video is put to music and the teacher’s commentary appears as text on the screen.
