On April 13, 2022 during a webinar hosted by the U.S. Department of Education, a high school teacher at South High School in the Denver Public Schools, asserted that teachers “need to be a stickler for inclusive language” and then, as an example, stated that “it’s not women who produce eggs, it’s ovaries that produce eggs.”
