Update on 10/11/24: The district website has been updated and the club is also now listed as a middle school offering as well as a high school offering.
On October 8, 2024, Robert Chiaradio shared an image on X of a poster hanging in Burrillville High School. The poster is for a “DNA Club” that stands for “Definitions Non Applicable.” It states: “Our mission is to provide a safe environment for LGBTQ+ students and allies in Burrillville High School and educate about various topics.” It is unclear what those “various topics” are. The club is not listed on the district’s webpage for clubs and activities for the 2024-2025 school year.
The flag on the poster is described on LGBTQ activist websites as the “Intersex-Inclusive Progress Pride Flag.”
