What is FourPoint Education Partners LLC?

On March 23, 2004, Cross & Joftus, LLC was registered as a limited liability company with the Maryland Secretary of State, based in Bethesda, Maryland, according to state records. On Nov. 9, 2017, the name of the company was changed to FourPoint Education Partners, LLC.

In August 2021, the company said on its website that its work includes “Equity and Access.” It said: “We help our clients bridge sectors and siloes to ensure that all young people have access to the systems, supports and people that keep them engaged in learning and on the path to success in college and careers. All young people deserve a rigorous and rewarding education experience, regardless of their ability, zip code or preferences. Closing the opportunity and achievement gaps are not unrelated tasks—they go hand in hand and require a broader definition of what, where and how students learn.”

FourPoint Education Partners says it “empowers education and community leaders by helping them strengthen school and system capacity to promote success for every student.”

In 2011, staffers talked about how critical “data” was in its work in a school district, Liberal School District in Kansas.
