Parents sound off over link between Biden admin and School Board ‘domestic terrorists’ accusations

One question that never seems to get answered – or isn’t asked by the right people – is why a group like Antifa is not considered a domestic terror organization by the U.S. Department of Justice.

The question has resurfaced yet again after it was revealed that the Department of Education actually solicited a letter from the National School Boards Association, allegedly with the hopes of validating the DOJ’s Stasi-like practice of surveilling and comparing concerned parents to domestic terrorists.

The NSBA letter suggested the use of the Patriot Act against protesting parents and is believed to have motivated Attorney General Merrick Garland’s controversial, thoroughly anti-American play in October of 2021 to mobilize the FBI against parents perceived to be a threat for seeking to be involved in their children’s education.

The exchange between the NSBA and the Biden regime has resulted in calls for the resignation of Education Secretary Miguel Cardona after the parents’ group Parents Defending Education filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request which was then reviewed by Fox News and which indicated the Education Department was much more involved with the letter’s creation than was previously thought.

In an Oct. 5 email, NSBA Secretary-Treasurer Kristi Swett recounted that NSBA interim CEO Chip Slaven “told the officers he was writing a letter to provide information to the White House, from a request by Secretary Cardona,” according to the outlet.

“Stunning,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) reacted on Twitter. “The original source of the letter lobbying the Biden admin to use the Patriot Act to target parents as domestic terrorists? THE BIDEN ADMIN ITSELF. Biden Education Secretary: in effect, ‘Please ask us to treat Moms & Dads as terrorists.’”

Given the discovery of the specious origins of the letter, parents are justifiably wondering why it is they are targets of the DOJ and not arguably domestic terror groups like Antifa.

“Parents are looking out for their kids,” Marvin, of Florida, told Fox News. “That’s the number one priority, their children, ’cause they are the future for tomorrow.”

“That’s totally ridiculous,” Debbie, an educator from New Jersey, told the outlet. “Parents have rights for their children. They should be standing up for their children and what is being taught in the classrooms.”

“If they’re going to be labeled domestic terrorists, what are we going to label these Antifa people?” Debbie continued. “We should be labeling them a domestic terrorist. I mean, what’s good for the goose should be good for the gander.”

Another man from Florida named Steven said he believes some people attend school board meetings just to rile up the gallery, adding that he fears the country is headed down a dark path.

“People used to talk with each other,” Steven said. “Now, sometimes we say, ‘Well, you’re a Trump voter, we’re not going to talk with you’ and ‘You’re a Biden voter, but I’m not going to talk with you,’ and it’s scary.”
