The University of Texas El Paso course includes content such as queer theory and whiteness.

The 2011 course WS 3390: “Queering the Color Line”: Ethnic Studies Into the 21st Century includes topics such as queer theory and whiteness.

The course description states that it “explores the intersections of race, ethnicity, and sexuality and how these categories collide and construct non-heteronormative bodies and identities” and “by comparing and contrasting the historical and cultural experiences of racial, ethnic, and queer communities, students will better understand how whiteness, nationalism, politics, economics, and globalization define, incorporate, or neglect queer communities of color.”
