Santa Barbara Unified School District teacher exposes highly racialized and political curriculum that is being withheld from parents

In January, Christy Lozano, a teacher for 18 years in the Santa Barbara Unified School District uploaded a video showing parents in the district the materials contained in the teacher-only resources. She outlined the culturally responsive curriculum that they must use including resources for white educators to learn about their privilege and how to be an antiracist. The full video is below:
