Point Pleasant School District asks parents to discuss racism and social injustice at home; shares list of “antiracism” resources

The superintendent of the Point Pleasant School District sent the following letter with a list of recommended resources. He urges everyone to bring racism and social injustice “to the forefront” for open discussions. He specifically asks parents to have conversations at home with their children.

The only books on the list are How to be an Anti-Racist by Ibram X. Kendi and This Book is Anti-Racist by Tiffany Jewell. The list also includes an “Anti-racist toolkist.”
