On November 4, 2023, the New York Post reported that a pre-kindergarten teacher at P.S. 59 Beekman Hill International School “offers social-media guides on how to talk to 4-year-olds about ‘land theft, displacement and ethnic cleansing.'” The New York Post continued to report:
She encourages parents to take them to pro-Palestinian protests — while blasting Israel as a “fascist ethnostate” in her Instagram stories, even in the wake of the Oct. 7 terror attacks by Hamas terrorists.
The newspaper also reported that the teacher has “teach-ins” for other educators and activists that “cover Palestine, Zionism, and the ‘struggle against colonization.'” She has additionally stated that “we aren’t teaching the truth if we’re silent on Palestine.” She has a “P is for Palestine Teach-in” for teachers and activists to “learn more about global solidarity, how Palestinian freedom intersects with social justice movements around the world, and where to find the most reliable & truthful children’s resources to continue learning about Palestine.”
The New York Report shared images from the teacher’s social media pages where she has called Israel a “fascist ethnostate with absolute zero impunity,” stated that “we can’t decolonize if we can’t speak,” and stated that she is “recognizing that non-binary and male folks can also have vulvas and vaginas.”
This teacher also runs her own business called Allusio Academy to provide “at-home curriculums for kids and consultations, webinars, and workshops for parents and teachers.” She recommends the book P Is for Palestine for young children in her program.
In a post dated June 11, 2021, this teacher also claimed that “rape” was used “to establish the state of Israel.”
