Norman Public Schools Spends $22,750 on Equity Consultants

In documents that Parents Defending Education obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request, the Norman Public School District hired:

FACTUALITY, LLC for a 90-minute virtual session consisting of “facilitated dialogue, crash course, and interactive experience that simulates structural inequality in America” for up to 100 people on October 20, 2020 at a cost of $3,000.

The Anti-Defamation League for its “A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE Institute Training Program,” consisting of two virtual sessions of 100-200 people each on November 11-12, 2020, at a cost of $10,000.

She Geeks Out, LLC for one training class, “Foundations of DEI & Unconscious Bias in the Workplace” for up to 30 attendees at a cost of $5,500. Norman Public Schools also received 65 annual licenses of the online course “Unconscious Bias in the Workplace” at a cost of $4,250. SGO’s total invoice was $9,750, and the contract was executed on April 7, 2021.
