Minneapolis Schools adopts ‘Equity, Representation, and Anti-Racism’ framework


By March 2021, Minneapolis Public Schools was still in Phase 1 of a process to implement a proposed “Climate Framework,” with “The Four Climate Values,” including “Equity, Representation, and Anti-Racism.”

In Staffing Decisions, “Equity, Representation, and Anti-Racism” means having MPS staff who are committed to equity and anti-racism…;
In Buildings, “Equity, Representation, and Anti-Racism” means using an anti-racist approach to any assessment or surveillance systems in place….
