Michigan School Board Member Tweets “Whiteness is so evil”

On December 18, 2022, a Jackson Public Schools school board member tweeted “Whiteness is so evil.” She followed up this comment on January 4, 2023, by tweeting “Whiteness is synonymous with racist.”
When a parent commented on the disheartening nature of her tweet, the board member replied “What’s disheartening? Calling out Whiteness? Or Whiteness being evil?”
