Key Biscayne K8 Center gives teachers “kid-friendly” resources to teach the guiding principles of Black Lives Matter that include being transgender affirming, queer affirming and globalist.

Incidents

In April 2021, teachers at Key Biscayne K-8 Center in Florida were given instructional packets on how to teach students about the Black Lives Matter Movement from the organization’s founders as well as anti-racist resources to use with students. According to the teacher who contacted us, these materials were “supposed to supplement the social studies curriculum.”

All notes and highlights were made by the staff member who submitted the documents to Parents Defending Education. Reminder: this school serves students in kindergarten through 8th grade.
