Ferndale Public Schools students required to research and make a presentation on BLM

A class at Ferndale Public schools was given an assignment to work “on BLM Policy Research” and give a presentation for the next class. Then they were given a list of various organizations affiliated with BLM like Black Panther Party and The Dream Defenders and told to analyze them and answer questions like, “What is the organizations mission?” and “Describe its activist work.” They were also assigned two poems to read and analyze with a “feminist lens” and a “Marxist lens”.
