Fayetteville Public Schools’ five year equity plan includes training in microaggressions and “Culturally Relevant Pedagogy”

In year two of Fayetteville Public Schools’ Five Year Equity Competency Plan, teachers will undergo “Foundations of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Creating Inclusive Spaces: A Look at Macro- and Microaggressions” as well as “Culturally Relevant Pedagogy: Bringing Equity into the Classroom.” These type of trainings are set to continue into year five.
