Rochester High School recently held a training that included a handout below; the content is steeped in critical race theory. The full 10 page handout is attached above as a PDF.
The Barriers section below directly references and tenets of critical theory.
The notes on the side of the handout refer to an exercise in which staff were told that they cannot cry in interracial situations, that crying is not an appropriate response.
Parents Defending Education did reach out out to district’s director of diversity, equity, and inclusion but we did not receive a response.
