Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District: FOIA filed

In March 2021, Parents Defending Education filed a FOIA request with the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District in Texas.

We requested: all contracts, communications, emails and documentation related to the purchase of a school-based program, No Place for Hate. We also requested all documents, emails, meeting notes, and other forms of communication – internal and external – regarding a video, “Implicit Bias: Concepts Unwrapped,” and related activities; the names and biographies of all supporting outside consultants and associates working with the district to hold the activity, including No Place for Hate; all copies of contracts, including costs and expenses, between 2017 and 2021 with vendors, consultants, curriculum providers, book sellers, and others in the areas of diversity, inclusion, equity, anti-racism, culturally-responsible curriculum, and related areas.
