Citizen Advocating for Responsible Education (CARE), Albemarle County, Virginia

Citizens Advocating for Responsible Education (CARE) is a group of parents, friends, neighbors and tax paying citizens of Albemarle County who have come together as a loose collective with some concerns about recent and planned changes in the Albemarle County Public Schools mission and curricula related to racism, equity, diversity and inclusion.

CARE is “a concerned group of citizens and parents from Albemarle County, Virginia who are interested in ensuring our children receive healthy, responsible education from our public schools. Recent and upcoming changes to the Mission, Values and Curricula of the Albemarle County Public Schools have raised concern for a growing number of citizens and parents.”
